Does ERA cost anything?
ERA delivery itself is a standard payer/clearinghouse function; any clearinghouse-side fees depend on your clearinghouse agreement. We will identify them in the enrollment plan rather than surprise you.
What if a payer doesn't offer ERA?
A few smaller payers still send paper or portal EOBs. Those are posted manually under the same reconciliation discipline — see payment posting.
