Reporting and Analytics
The numbers that run your revenue cycle — collections, AR days, denial patterns and payer performance — reported clearly and regularly.
A practice cannot manage what it cannot see. Most owners know their bank balance but not their days in AR, their denial rate by payer, or which location's claims stall. Elite Bill Care's reporting and analytics service turns your billing data into a small set of honest, regular reports — the same numbers we use to manage our own work on your account.

The core measures we report
- Collections — posted payments by period, payer and provider, matched to deposits through payment posting.
- Days in AR and aging buckets — the shape of your receivables, tracked over time (see AR management).
- Denial rate and categories — denials by payer, reason code and originating step, with overturn outcomes from appeals.
- First-pass (clean) claim rate — how many claims pay without rework; the single best summary of front-end health.
- Net collection rate — what you collect against what contracts say is collectable.
- Charge and visit volume — charges entered vs. appointments, so unbilled encounters surface (see charge entry).
Reporting that changes behavior
A report nobody acts on is decoration. Our reporting is built around decisions: which payer's denials need a process fix this month, which bucket of AR is aging fastest, whether a coding pattern is costing money (fed back into coding support), and whether last month's fix actually worked. Each report is short, comparable month to month, and discussed with you — trends in plain language, not data dumps.
Part of the management loop
Reporting is the steering wheel of revenue cycle management: it is how leaks get found, how fixes get verified, and how our own performance on your account stays measurable — including when the honest answer is that a number got worse and why. Practices evaluating us through outsourcing should ask any billing company the same question: which reports will I receive, and how often? Our answer is on this page.
Frequently asked questions
How often do we receive reports?
Core reports run monthly, with AR and denial tracking visible on a continuing basis as the work proceeds. If a number moves sharply mid-month — a payer suddenly denying a category — you hear about it then, not at month-end.
Can you build a custom report for our group?
Usually, yes — provider-level, location-level and payer-level cuts of the core measures are standard requests. If the underlying data exists in your system, we will build the view; if it does not, we will say so rather than estimate it.
Do reports include benchmarking against other practices?
We report your numbers against your own history and your payer contracts — the comparisons that support decisions. We do not publish or invent industry 'averages' to make a report look complete.
Who sees the reports?
Only the people you designate. Reports contain financial and operational detail and are shared under the same confidentiality as the rest of our work.
