Elation Health Billing Services
Complete medical billing run inside Elation Health — claims, posting, denials and reporting — inside your existing system: you keep your software, your data and your workflows; we supply the billing team.
Elation Health is the clinical-first EHR known for its fast, chronological visit note, adopted heavily by primary care practices — including a large share of direct primary care and membership-based practices that bill insurance selectively. If your practice runs on Elation, Elite Bill Care provides full Elation Health billing services around the system you already own: your clinicians keep the charting workflow they chose Elation for, and our team handles the insurance revenue cycle — charges, claims, payments and follow-up — without asking your practice to become a billing department.
What we do inside Elation Health
- Eligibility and authorizations checked for insured services before visits, so covered care is never denied for a preventable reason (see eligibility verification).
- Charge review and claim submission — superbills and encounter charges reviewed, coded correctly and submitted on a daily rhythm (see claim submission).
- ERA/EOB posting and reconciliation — remittances posted and matched so insurance revenue is as visible as membership revenue (see payment posting).
- Denials and AR worked end to end — denials corrected or appealed and aging followed up until every claim resolves (see AR management).
- Reporting that separates the streams cleanly — insurance collections, aging and denial trends reported on schedule (see reporting and analytics).
Platform-specific workflow
Elation practices typically bill insurance through Elation's own billing tools or a connected clearinghouse route, and setups vary more than with all-in-one suites — so onboarding starts by mapping exactly how your claims leave and how remittances return, then documenting that path. The other Elation-specific reality is the hybrid model: many practices collect membership fees that are never claims at all, alongside insured services that must be billed perfectly to be worth offering. We keep those streams strictly separate — membership revenue untouched by claim workflows, insured visits captured completely so no billable service is lost simply because billing is the practice's second job. The result is a charting-first practice with a billing operation that behaves like one.
Primary care adds one more layer we handle deliberately: care-management and preventive billing. Elation practices commonly bill chronic care management, transitional care and annual wellness services, and those codes pay on documented time and specific visit elements rather than on the encounter alone. We verify the supporting documentation exists before those claims are submitted and track their recurring monthly cycles, so a legitimate, growing revenue line for the practice does not quietly become a denial category of its own.
No migration, no disruption
Elation stays your clinical home and nothing about your patient workflow changes: onboarding is access, a review of your billing route and connections, and agreement on the reporting rhythm — then the insurance cycle runs quietly behind your practice. Frequently asked questions
How does Elite Bill Care access our Elation account and billing tools?
Access is arranged as named-user, role-limited access to your Elation environment and whichever billing route your practice uses, with permissions restricted to billing functions. Each team member's access is individual and auditable — never a shared login — and everything is covered by our Business Associate Agreement before work begins. Your Elation subscription and clinical data remain under your control; if the engagement ends, access is removed and the record of our work remains available to you.
Can you clean up the insurance AR we have already accumulated?
Yes — for many Elation practices, insurance AR has built up precisely because billing was nobody's first job, and cleaning it up inside your existing setup is a standard starting point. We triage the aging by payer and recoverability, pursue what is still collectible with corrected claims or appeals, and give you an honest picture of the rest before any write-off decisions. Going forward, insured visits are captured and billed daily, so a new backlog never quietly forms behind the membership practice.
We are a direct primary care practice that bills insurance only for some services — can you handle that mix?
That hybrid model is common among Elation practices, and it is exactly what we structure for. Membership fees and non-covered services stay entirely outside the claim workflow — we never submit claims for care your patients have already paid for through membership. For insured services, we verify eligibility, capture the charges completely, submit and follow up like any full-service billing operation. You get clean separation between the two revenue streams and reporting that shows each one on its own terms.
