Claim.MD Billing Services
Complete medical billing run through Claim.MD — claims, remits and denials moving through the clearinghouse your practice already uses: you keep your EHR and your workflows; we supply the billing team.
Claim.MD is a web-based medical clearinghouse used by practices, clinics and billing services to submit claims, check eligibility in real time and receive electronic remittances entirely through a browser — no local software to install or maintain. It connects submitters to a broad list of payers and is a common choice for smaller practices that want full clearinghouse function without enterprise overhead. If your claims move through Claim.MD, Elite Bill Care runs your billing in that same portal: you keep your EHR and your workflows; we supply the billing team that works it every day.
What we do with Claim.MD
- Real-time eligibility checks run in Claim.MD before visits, so coverage problems are caught at scheduling (see eligibility verification).
- Claim submission and rejection management — every file tracked to payer acceptance, rejections corrected and resubmitted the same day where possible (see clearinghouse rejection management).
- ERA posting and reconciliation — electronic remits received in Claim.MD posted and matched to deposits (see payment posting).
- Denials and AR follow-up — denials categorized, appealed and followed up instead of sitting in the portal unseen (see accounts receivable management).
- Reporting — collections, aging and denial trends on a regular rhythm (see reporting and analytics).
Platform-specific workflow
Everything in Claim.MD happens in the web portal, which makes the work queue the whole game: submitted claims, payer acknowledgments, rejections and ERAs are all visible there — and all ignorable there. Our team works the portal daily, so acknowledgments are confirmed for every file, rejections are corrected while the claim is still young, and remits are posted as they arrive rather than in a monthly batch. Denied claims are worked from the same portal with the remittance detail in view, so an appeal starts from what the payer actually said, not from a summary of it.
Claims typically reach Claim.MD either through an integration with your practice management system or by direct upload. At onboarding we confirm which route each payer's claims take and that responses are coming back for all of them, so no payer's claims travel a path nobody is watching. Because Claim.MD is often chosen by practices without a dedicated billing office, that confirmation discipline is the difference between a clearinghouse that merely transmits claims and one that actually gets them paid.
No migration, no disruption
There is no clearinghouse switch and no EHR change: we work as named users in your existing Claim.MD account, under our Business Associate Agreement, and billing continues exactly where it runs today — with a team now working it daily. See the full operation on our medical billing services page, or the other platforms on our software page.
Frequently asked questions
Our practice management system sends claims through Claim.MD — do we need to change anything?
No. Your system keeps sending claims the way it does today. You add our team as named users in your Claim.MD account under our Business Associate Agreement, and we take over the daily work in the portal — acknowledgments, rejections, remits and follow-up — without touching your existing setup. Your existing connection keeps working from day one, and nothing is reconfigured.
Can claims reach Claim.MD even if our EHR is not integrated with it?
Typically, yes. Claim.MD accepts claims through integrations with many practice management systems, and also through direct upload to the web portal, so a practice is not locked out by a missing integration. At onboarding we confirm which route fits your system and that payer acknowledgments come back correctly for your claims. We confirm the route for each of your payers before relying on it for live claims.
There are old rejections and unworked remits in our Claim.MD account — can you start there?
Yes. A portal cleanup is a standard starting point: we work through the accumulated rejections, correct and resubmit what is still within filing limits, retrieve and post the outstanding remits, and reconcile them to deposits. Then the daily rhythm takes over, so the portal stays current instead of quietly filling up again. After the cleanup, brief daily checks keep it that way permanently.
