ChiroTouch Billing Services
Complete medical billing run inside ChiroTouch — claims, posting, denials and reporting — inside your existing system: you keep your software, your data and your workflows; we supply the billing team.
ChiroTouch is the EHR and practice management platform built for chiropractic practices, combining charting, scheduling, patient management and billing in one cloud system used by chiropractors nationwide. If your practice runs on ChiroTouch, Elite Bill Care provides full ChiroTouch billing services inside the system you already own: your providers keep charting the way they do today, and our team runs the revenue cycle behind it — charges, claims, payments and follow-up — in your ChiroTouch account, under your practice's name and payer enrollments.
What we do inside ChiroTouch
- Eligibility and authorizations verified before care plans begin, including each plan's visit limits and medical-necessity rules (see eligibility verification).
- Charge review and claim submission daily — manipulation and therapy codes checked against the documented visit before anything is sent (see claim submission).
- ERA/EOB posting and reconciliation — remittances posted, adjustments verified, and patient-responsibility balances kept accurate (see payment posting).
- Denials and AR worked in-platform — denials categorized and appealed, aging chased payer by payer until it closes (see AR management).
- Reporting from your ChiroTouch data — collections per payer, denial trends and aging reviewed with you regularly (see reporting and analytics).
Platform-specific workflow
Chiropractic billing is unusually payer-specific, and ChiroTouch work has to respect that. Medicare covers only manual spinal manipulation to correct a subluxation, so the AT modifier — signalling active, corrective treatment rather than maintenance care — has to match what the documentation actually shows, every visit. Commercial plans layer on their own visit caps, pre-authorization rules and medical-necessity reviews, and therapies billed alongside manipulation (97012, 97110 and similar) are frequent denial targets when notes do not separate them clearly. We build those checks into the daily charge review inside ChiroTouch, so the claim that leaves the system already reflects the payer's rules for chiropractic care — not a generic template that happens to include a chiropractor.
ChiroTouch practices also commonly carry case types most specialties never see — personal injury and workers' compensation — where claims route to auto or comp carriers, documentation standards differ, and balances may sit in lien arrangements rather than normal patient billing. We keep those cases separated cleanly inside ChiroTouch from ordinary health-insurance AR, with their own follow-up rhythm and reporting, so a slow-settling injury case never distorts the practice's insurance aging or hides a genuine payer problem.
No migration, no disruption
Nothing moves and nothing changes at the front desk: onboarding is named-user access, a review of your ChiroTouch billing configuration, and verification of your payer connections — then billing begins in the platform your team already knows. See the full operation on our medical billing services page, or browse the other platforms we work in on our software page.
Frequently asked questions
How does Elite Bill Care access our ChiroTouch account?
You create named-user access for our team inside your own ChiroTouch system, with permissions limited to the billing functions we need — clinical charting controls and practice administration stay with you. Every user is individual and auditable rather than a shared login, and access is covered by our Business Associate Agreement before work starts. If the engagement ends, you deactivate the users and the full history of our billing work stays in your system, because it was always your data.
Can you clean up the AR we already have in ChiroTouch?
Yes — aged AR review and recovery inside your existing ChiroTouch account is a standard starting point for chiropractic practices. We work the aging oldest-first, identify which balances are still billable, which need corrected claims or appeals, and which should be written off under your policy, and we show you the realistic recovery picture before starting. Meanwhile new claims are submitted clean from the first week, so the cleanup runs alongside — never instead of — current revenue.
Can you handle Medicare's chiropractic rules inside ChiroTouch?
Yes, and those rules are where chiropractic billing most often goes wrong. Medicare pays only for manipulation treating a subluxation, and the AT modifier attests the care is active and corrective — maintenance visits are not covered. We check that the documented diagnosis, visit notes and modifiers support each Medicare claim before it is submitted from ChiroTouch, flag treatment plans that are drifting into maintenance, and keep the practice informed so uncovered care is handled with the patient correctly, including an ABN where one is needed.
