Azalea Health Billing Services
Complete medical billing run inside Azalea Health — claims, posting, denials and reporting — inside your existing system. You keep your software, your data and your workflows; we supply the billing operation.
Azalea Health is a fully cloud-based EHR and revenue cycle platform built with rural and community healthcare in mind. It is used by rural hospitals, clinics and ambulatory practices that want clinical and financial workflows in a single system instead of a patchwork of separate tools. If your organization runs on Azalea, Elite Bill Care provides full Azalea Health billing services inside your existing system — you keep your software, your data and your workflows; we supply the billing team that works it every day.
What we do inside Azalea Health
- Eligibility and authorizations checked before visits, inside Azalea and on payer portals, so coverage problems surface at scheduling rather than after the claim (see eligibility verification).
- Charge review and claim submission on a daily rhythm, for professional and institutional claims alike, with coding checks before claims leave the system (see electronic claim submission).
- ERA/EOB posting and reconciliation — payments matched to deposits and contractual adjustments verified line by line (see payment posting).
- Denials and AR worked in-platform — every denial categorized, appealed and followed up in the same aging views your own team sees (see accounts receivable management).
- Reporting from Azalea's own data — collections, aging and denial trends delivered on a regular rhythm (see reporting and analytics).
Platform-specific workflow
Because Azalea ties the clinical and financial sides together, a billing problem is usually visible at its source: an encounter left unsigned, a charge that never crossed from the chart, a registration error that will reject at the clearinghouse. Our team works those queues in Azalea daily — unsigned encounters, charge review, claim holds — instead of waiting for a denial to explain what went wrong weeks later.
Azalea also serves hospitals as well as practices, so engagements typically span both professional claims on the CMS-1500 and institutional claims on the UB-04, each with its own edits, codes and payer rules. We keep payer enrollments and fee schedules current inside the system so both claim types move cleanly, and so a hospital outpatient department and its clinics are not billed as if they were the same operation.
For rural organizations, where the same small team often covers registration, coding and follow-up at once, that daily rhythm matters: a single missed enrollment or an unworked hold queue can represent a meaningful share of a month's revenue, so nothing in Azalea waits for a month-end review to be noticed.
No migration, no disruption
Onboarding is access and configuration, not a system change: named-user logins under our Business Associate Agreement, payer and clearinghouse connections verified, and billing begins in the platform your front desk already knows. See the full operation on our medical billing services page, or the other platforms on our software page.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need to give you our Azalea Health login?
No — you create named-user accounts for our team inside your Azalea system, with role-based permissions limited to billing functions. That is the secure, auditable way to share access, and it is standard in our BAA-covered onboarding. Your organization keeps ownership of the system and the data, and access can be reviewed or revoked by you at any time.
Can you clean up our existing AR in Azalea?
Yes. An aged AR review inside your own system is a standard starting point: we work the aging buckets in Azalea, separate genuine denials from claims that were never followed up, appeal what is appealable and correct what is fixable. Because the work happens in-platform, your team can see exactly what was touched and what was recovered.
Can you handle both our hospital UB-04 billing and our clinic CMS-1500 billing in Azalea?
Yes. Azalea is used by hospitals as well as clinics and practices, so engagements commonly include institutional UB-04 claims alongside professional CMS-1500 claims. The two claim types follow different edits and payer rules — occurrence and value codes on one side, procedure and diagnosis coding on the other — and we staff and work both queues.
